The aim of women cell is to create awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberation on a range of issues from empowerment to environment. It leads to empower girl students and to make them self-reliant. It helps them to recognize their true potential and to help them attain their own stand in a competing world. Women Cell functions with the added aim to enhance self-esteem of young women and empower them in taking pertinent decisions.

Objectives:

  • To empower girl students to attain emotional, physical and mental freedom to withstand the changing phases throughout their life.
  • To create awareness about health and hygiene among girl students.
  • To create a conducive and harmonious environment to enable girls to work with comfort, confidence and dignity
  • To create social awareness about the problems of women in general and gender discrimination in particular by means of programs like lectures, exhibition and seminars.
  • To mould potential women in the campus to achieve thriving milestones of success.
