A brief introduction of the NCC
The National Cadet Corps is Indian Military Cadet Corps with its head quarters at New Delhi.
It is the largest Uniformed Youth Organisation in the world for school, college and university going students.
It is a Tri-Service Organisation comprising of Army, Navy and Air Force.Â
The cadets are given basic military training and these cadets are given preference over the normal candidates during selection in the armed forces.
NCC came into existence on 15th July 1948
Aims and objectives of NCC
To develop Character, Leadership, Discipline, Spirit of Sportsmanship and sense of selfless service to the nation.
To create a human resource of organised, trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all fields of life.
To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
Mission & Vision of NCC
To create awareness among the students regarding its importance towards nation building.Â
We intend to train the cadets to participate in Republic Day Parade, Independence Day Parade, Army Attachment and Adventurous Camps.
Government college Hansi, NCC wing contributes to the overall development of the cadets to face various challenges, encountered by them in life.
About NCC Unit Govt College HansiÂ
NCC Army Wing (SD) in this college was established in 1981.
Govt College Hansi is the unit of 11 Haryana Battalion NCC Bhiwani, which comes under Rohtak Headquarters of NCC Directorate Haryana, Punjab, HP and Chandigarh.
At present, Army wing of our college comprising of 44 cadets (32 boys + 12 girls) is actively indulging in all NCC activities to make our nation proud.Â
